The 60 Stool

Designer: Alvar Aalto, Artek, Finland

Year : 1933
This simple stackable stool was designed by Alvar Aalto during the years of 1932-33. Aalto developed the bent L-shaped leg, using this unique bending technology became the basis of the stackable Stool 60. On permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the simplicity and innovative technology captured by this three-legged stool is timeless. I love how this stool works so well in a modern space or in a kid bedroom. You can either get the original one or look for his brother at ikea, the frosta stool.
